Vision1Awareness (“we”, “our”, “us”) builds tools to enhance road safety awareness. This Privacy Policy explains what data our Android app collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to this Policy.

• Approximate & Precise Location (GPS): used to enable proximity awareness and alerts while the app is running.
• Device Identifiers & Diagnostics: basic, non-personal logs and crash data to improve reliability.
• Notifications: permission status and delivery (no message content is stored).

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, or messages from your device.

• Core Functionality: compute proximity and deliver real-time safety alerts.
• App Improvement: analyze anonymized diagnostics and crashes to fix bugs and enhance performance.
• Safety & Security: detect misuse and protect the service.

• Location: required for GPS-based awareness features. You can change this anytime in Android Settings.
• Notifications: used to surface timely safety alerts.

We do not sell your data. We may share limited data with:

• Service Providers: trusted partners who process diagnostics on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
• Legal/Compliance: if required to comply with applicable laws or protect rights and safety.

Location data used for live awareness is processed in real time and not retained longer than necessary for the feature to function. Diagnostic logs, if collected, are retained only as long as needed to analyze and resolve issues.

We apply administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we aim to continuously improve our safeguards.

• Permissions: manage Location and Notifications in Android Settings.
• Delete Data: you may request deletion of diagnostics associated with your device by contacting us.
• Uninstall: removing the app stops all data collection and processing on your device.

Our app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child provided data, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We apply protections consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here. The “Effective date” at the top will reflect the latest version.
